Painswick - Home Extension

What we did…

We were contacted by the owners of ‘Darkest Peru’, a beautiful home located in Painswick, Gloucestershire looking for an extension to their property.  There were a number of challenges with this project as the existing property showed substantial movement over the years and the drainage was either non existant or not working properly.

This was all resolved with the use of professional people such as structural engineers, Severn Trent – to redesign the the drainage syatem and the team at Larian Construction to carry out all works.

The project involved substantial groundworks, block and render finish, 3 large windows on roof with Seedum roof installed.  Outside the property patio and walling were constructed to the rear and side of the property, front parking area created with stonework and wrought iron fence, ensuring everything was inkeeping with the style and time of the property.  The bi-fold doors and windows show off the property to the customers desired look.  Not the easiest of projects undertaken but the end result was worth ot all!
